We went to the doctor last Tuesday for Cohen's well check. He weighs 20 lbs and is 29 inches long. That puts him in the 10-25% for both height and weight. He is our little guy. He got 2 shots and did not like them but calmed down pretty fast. Otherwise the dr. said he looked good and we will be going back when he is 15 months. Cohen is doing so much these days. He is signing more and all done. He claps when you say "yay Cohen." If you say "how big is Cohen" he will raise his arms over his head. He can give kisses when asked. He loves seeing his Aunts, Cousins and grandparents. He can imitate words really well but I can never tell if he is really saying them or just repeating them. The other night he said "thank you" everytime I handed him something. Ive heard him say "I love you," "hi," and "hello." He says "mo" for more sometimes. He loves playing peek a boo with the coffee table. We are working on getting him off the bottle. He has not figured out how to use sippy cups yet. He is cruising around the furniture and will stand in place for a couple of seconds. No walking yet though.
He is eating everything! Some of his favorites are:
chicken
grapes
cheerios
peaches
cherries
greenbeans
peas
carrots
broccoli
hot dogs
yogurt
applesauce
He is really funny and loves to be tickled. He is so fun to be around and I cannot belive it has been a whole year since he was born. I look at his pictures from a year ago and he looks so different. Even though I miss his babyness I know that the exciting part is just beginning. This next year is going to be so much fun and I cant wait to see all the new things he is going to learn.
