Cohen's Christmas program was this last week! He did so good. They sang and played with jingle bells. Cohen did not sing but he smiled the whole time! He was excited that his Nana, Poppy, and Aunt Co got to come watch him! We have been busy with Christmas parties and programs! I took no pictures during Thanksgiving since we were at the Dolphins/Cowboys game. Lucky and Sarah got a few while we were in Austin so I will have to get those from her. Only two more days of school for me and then Christmas will be here!

Cohen was Woody from Toy Story this year for Halloween! We went to HalloZooween at the Zoo on Friday night and he had so much fun. They had different things set up for the kids to do and had different stations to get candy at. We also went trick or treating Monday night. We stopped by and saw Nana then went to Poppy's house. Later we went to a neighborhood and he did so good! He would walk up to the houses by himself and say trick or treat and thank you. He was so cute! Aunt Co and Kenzie met up with us but I didnt get a picture like I usually do. He did not like to wear his hat because he said his hair was too long so we would put it on before he went up to the door and then he would come back and hand it to us. But he always wanted it back on right before he walked up to the next door.. Silly boy!

Cohen went on his first field trip with his preschool to the pumpkin patch! He got to ride in the school's van and daddy met him there! He heard some stories, picked out a pumpkin and played with his friends. He is really loving school!

Cohen had his first day of preschool today! I really think he liked it. He didn't cry this morning when we left and when I called to check on him they said he was doing good. He is going to First Baptist church which does a three day week preschool. Right now we just have him going every Thursday. They do really fun stuff so I am excited for him.

We went to Austin for a wedding at the end of July and we drove down to San Antonio to go to Sea World! We had so much fun seeing the animals and playing at the water park. We had a great Easter even though it was rainy and cold. The weekend before we went to an Easter egg hunt where Cohen filled up his basket then he was done! The next weekend which was Easter we went to a church that does an Easter play and Cohen did so good watching it. Then we came home and Jason's family and my dad came over and we ate! The Easter bunny hid eggs twice for Cohen and he loved finding them all over the house!

I had snow days on Thursday and Friday of this last week. We stayed in all day Thursday but on Friday we got out in the snow. Cohen really liked it which suprised me because he thought it was too cold when we had some snow earlier this month. He loved throwing snow balls at daddy! Cohen is now sleeping in a big boy bed! He has done so well! He doesnt get out unless we tell him he can so that is nice. He likes to have all his friends in bed with him. We took down his crib so now his room looks like a big boy room. It made me a little sad. :(

We had such a busy Christmas! Sarah was in Tulsa when we got back, Meg was flying in that night, and my grandparents came on Thursday. We went to my dads Christmas Eve where we opened all of our presents. We woke up Saturday morning to see what Santa had brought us! Then we went back to my dad's for lunch then Jason's family came over that night and we opened more presents! It was a lot of fun. It has been a long time since my last post. I left my camera in Arkansas which is where we went for Thanksgiving. We had lots of fun and got to see all of Jason's family. Cohen did great even though he didnt eat much thanksgiving food. We came back and started getting ready for Christmas! We have gone to the Christmas parade, a play about the Christmas story at Victory Church, and we saw Santa! Cohen is loving Christmas this year. On Saturday before Halloween we went to a Halloween festival in Tulsa called BooHaHa. Cohen got to trick or treat and see animals. There was also a parade. We had a lot of fun. We also carved a pumpkin which Cohen really liked.

I have been putting this off for a long time because I knew when we cut Cohen's hair short he would like so old to me and I was right. But his hair was getting so long and it grew so fast so we decided to go ahead and get it cut short. It turned out really cute, thanks Courtney! He does look really old, almost 10 years old I think, but I am getting used to it. I didnt get a good before picture but look at the Pumpkin Patch pictures and you can see how long it is.

My little baby is turning 2 tomorrow. He is not a little baby anymore, he is running talking big boy. We had his Elmo birthday party this weekend and it was lots of fun! Cohen had an Elmo cupcake cake and a giant balloon Elmo. We were Elmoed out! Lots of family was able to come to Tulsa to help us celebrate. Every year gets better and better with Cohen and we are excited about the next one!

We have had a very busy June. My two bestest friends came to Tulsa to see Cohen and I! They came just for one night but we still had fun. We then went to Fort Worth for a Cox family reunion and then we were off to Austin, Houston, Dallas, then back to Tulsa! It was a fun filled week! We were able to see lots of friends and family. I did not take any pictures but Meg did so I will post those when she sends them to me. We were home in time for the July 4th. It rained all weekend so we just stayed home and cooked out with Jason's family. We walked down to the park in our neighborhood to watch fireworks and set some off in our backyard. Cohen was little scared and ran inside at one point but he never cried. Now we are preparing for the big 2 year birthday party! It is this weekend and its all about Elmo! I will be sure and post pictures from it! Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.

I want to remember this story just how it happened so I am writing it tonight so I wont forget. I am sure this will be funny when Cohen is older but tonight its not so funny.

I went to Wal Mart by myself tonight while Jason and Cohen stayed home. I was talking to Jason in the parking lot while I was loading my groceries and as I was hanging up I heard Jason say "Cohen Doss." He immediately called back and said Cohen had locked himself in our bedroom. I told him to get a bobby pin and try to pick the lock. I drove home in about 5 minutes and he was still in there. He was kinda whining but doing OK. The lock on the doorknob was not the typical inside door lock. It had an opening for a key like a outside door and not just a hole. We found all the keys in the house and tried them. Then we were trying to stick small things in the keyhole but nothing was working. I called my dad to ask him if he knew of any keys to the bedroom door and he was driving home and was really close to our house so he said he would come help us. Cohen was still doing OK at this point kinda crying on and off and talking to us a little. When I looked under the door I noticed the light was off. He knows how to turn the light on and off so I kept telling him to turn it on. I went outside at one point to look in the windows (all the blinds were closed) and noticed that he kept turning the light on and off. My dad tried everything but tearing down the door, so we finally decided to call a locksmith. They got here really quickly and the guy put these pointy things in the lock and messed with it for close to 30 minutes. He also tried a couple different credit cards. He then called his friend and told him there was child in the room and asked if he could come help. So his friend arrived and he got the doorknob so loose that it was kinda just hanging there. By this time Cohen was terrified! He was crying so hard and was coughing and kept saying "momma and daddy." It was really hard to just stand there and do nothing. After the second guy worked on it for 30 minutes he asked if he could saw off the doorknob. We said of course and he went and got his saw and sawed off the doorknob so the inside was exposed. He then used some pliers and turned something and the door finally came open! Cohen just walked right out and I picked him up then he wanted to go to Poppy, then daddy, then Debbie. He was in there for a total of 2 hours! It was very exhausting but I am so happy he is OK. He stayed right by the door the whole time. The light was off because he had unplugged the lamp in there at some point. I would put my fingers under the door and then he would put his. We sang a little. He was a really good boy and I know he was scared while they were sawing and making a lot of noise. We love him very much!

Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend. On Friday we went to the Zoo with my class and Cohen loved seeing the animals. It was super hot but he did pretty good. He liked the monkeys and the jaguar. I only got a couple pictures on my phone. We spent the rest of the weekend at the pool. Cohen LOVES to swim. He smiles the whole time. He will jump off the side and will blow bubbles in the water. He loves being thrown in the air and caught. We will be spending a lot of our days at the pool!

Cohen is obsessed with Elmo! It started out with a bubble blower that he got last year for his birthday and everytime we would go outside he would say "melmo" Then he started watching Sesame Street and everytime Elmo would come on he would say his name and dance around. So we got him a Elmo doll and he sleeps with it every night. We also got him an Elmo DVD that he watches once a day. He dances with Elmo and usually wakes up in the morning talking about him. He will also be having an Elmo themed birthday party in July! Here are some pictures of Cohen and his best friend.

May So Far

May so far has been a busy month. We spent Mothers Day in Arkansas seeing Jason's ma maw and being with his mom, sister, and nieces. My mother's day present was having all of Cohen's video recordings being turned into DVDs! I watched them as soon as I got home and loved remembering how Cohen was when he was a baby. He loved watching them too! The next weekend was Jason's birthday and my grandparents came to visit. We were also supposed to go to the zoo with my class for a field trip but it got rained out. We will hopefully be going this Friday. Cohen loved being with my grandparents. They watched him for us one night while Jason and I went out for his birthday. I know he loved seeing them. I have 3 1/2 more weeks of school and I am so excited to spend the summer with Cohen! We have a lot planned and most important is a big birthday in July! I cant believe he is going to be two! End of April

Then end of April was little rough for Cohen. It started out with pink eye and turned into ear infections and a very high fever for two days. He went to the Dr. twice got eye drops for his eyes and ear infection medicine. He had a pretty high fever and just wanted to lay around and sleep. After the fever went away he was not his normal happy self. Finally he woke up and was talking and laughing and we were so happy to finally have him back to his normal healthy self.

This is when he had pink eye.

Here are some pictures from the month of April. We had a great Easter. Cohen loved hunting for Easter eggs. We practiced a lot before Easter and he hunted for Easter eggs twice. My camera is currently broken. It is taking pictures but I cannot upload them to my computer. I will hopefully get it fixed this week.

Cohen loves his daddy. They spend all day together while I am at work then Jason goes to work at night. When Jason is gone all Cohen talks about is "da-dee." He calls him on the phone and talks to him. Jason is so good with Cohen and can always make him laugh. I am so lucky that I have Jason and that he takes such good care of Cohen and me. We love you!

Fathers Day 2009

20 Months!

Cohen is now 20 months old! He is doing so much and talking a lot more. We went to the doctor for his 18 month checkup last month (when he was already 19 months oops!). He was 33 1/4 inches tall which is in the 75% and he weighed 28.8 lbs which is in the 90%. He got a few shots and she was really impressed with his talking skills. I have had the last two weeks off for spring break and Sarah came to visit during that time. We had a lot of fun even though her and Cohen both got sick. Cohen threw on Saturday did good on Sunday then threw up again on Monday. He then gave it to Sarah. They are both better now though. This last week we just relaxed and I got to spend lots of time with my Coboy! My mom has been trying to come visit since Christmas and every weekend she has planned it has snowed including this weekend. She is trying again this next weekend and hopefully the weather with cooperate. Friday we did have a beautiful day and we got to spend some time outside. We have Easter coming up soon and Cohen has been practicing putting Easter eggs in his basket. He has gotten really good at it. I will post pictures of the Easter egg hunt he is going on this Saturday. Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Sarah needs to send me the pictures from when she was here and I will post them.

18 Months!

Cohen was 18 months old on the 15! He is so much fun and learning all new things. He is starting to talk a lot more now. He can say mama, dada, bye, more, please, hi, Meg, poppy, nana, Zadie, baby, book, and belly button. He tries to say other stuff but its not as clear. He loves reading books and will bring them to us to read to him. He loves playing with balls and throwing things. He has been chewing on his hands a lot so we are hoping he is getting some more teeth. Right now he only has 6 but I think the two next the center ones on the bottom are coming in. We havent been to do the Dr. yet because I switched our insurance and our old Dr. is not covered so I have to find another one. I will post how much he weighs after we go. Cohen is so funny and such a joy to be around. We love him very much!

Cohen had a great second Christmas! He really didnt know what was going on but he knew more than last year. We were supposed to go to my dad's Christmas Eve but we got snowed in. Meg was already over so she spent the night and was here for Christmas Day. We opened a few presents that night then woke up Christmas morning and opened what Santa brought us. Cohen got a big ball pit, a seesaw, and lots of other toys. We then waited for Jason's family and my dad and Debbie to come over. It took longer than usual because of the snow and ice. After they arrived we opened more presents! We also ate a lot of food. Cohen loved opening presents and he really liked his vacuum his mamaw Ava brought him. He also got a police car that he sits in and uses his feet to get around. He also got a tricycle that he likes to sit on. My mom was supposed to come to Tulsa but couldnt because of the weather. Sarah stayed in Boston since she had just been here for Thanksgiving. We missed them! Jason's family ended up staying with us for two nights because of the snow/ice. We had a lot of fun playing their Wii and games. It was such a good Christmas!

Zadie Marie

My little Zadie girl got sick this week and we had to put her down last night. It was all very sudden and unexpected. She was in kidney failure and there was not much hope for her. We decided to go ahead and put her to sleep last night to end her suffering. I already miss her so much. She was my first "baby." She was the best dog. Everyone that met her loved her. She was so good and loved to cuddle. She spent Thursday night in the hospital but we got to see her on Friday. Cohen got to see her and give her kisses. Obviously he doesnt know whats going on but anytime I say her name he looks for her. I know he misses her. It is hard getting used to her not being with me all day. For the last five years she has been with me. Throughout college and when I lived in Austin and when I moved to Tulsa and had Cohen. She was always so good with Cohen even though Cohen was not always so good to her. I could go on and on about her but I will put pictures up instead. We love and miss you Zadie!

Sorry its been so long! We have been very busy. I started back to school at the beginning of November. Then it was mine and Meg's birthday. Sarah came to Tulsa and we went to Andrews, TX for Thanksgiving. We had so much fun seeing my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cohen did really good on the drive there and back. Sarah left Tuesday Dec 1st and we have been getting ready for Christmas! Cohen went to see Santa yesterday and he wasnt impressed. He wasnt scared but he was not happy about sitting in his lap. Cohen is still walking everywhere and starting to say some new words. His favorite word is dada! He is always making us laugh and loves to dance. I will try to post a video of him dancing soon. Cohen had lots of fun trick or treating last night. We went with his cousins Bailey and Kenzie and he realized about halfway through that people were putting candy in his bag. Thursday was Cohen's 15 month birthday! He is walking everywhere and wont play in his playroom anymore because he wants to walk around all day. He is still getting used to walking and I think he looks like ET because he goes from side to side. I will try to get a video before he starts walking normal. I am off work for the next 3 weeks and am so excited. We have lots of fun things to do these next couple of weeks. Here are some cute pictures of Cohen.

Cohen is pretty much walking all the time now. He is still very cautious and takes little slow steps but I'm sure he will be running before too long. Here is a video from when we were in Andrews of him when he first began to really walk!

Gramma Luck

Since my last post about Austin a lot has happened. When we went to Austin we got to see my Gramma Luck who moved there at the end of June. She was living in a nursing home and we were able to visit her. She was very interested in Cohen. Sadly she passed away unexpectedly a week later. It turned out she was sick and no one knew and by the time a doctor saw her it was too late. I am so happy she got to meet Jason and see Cohen again. So Sunday September 27th Sarah, Meg, Cohen and I drove to Andrews TX for the funeral. We stayed with my grandparents Cox and we were able to see a lot of our family. Cohen was very good on the 8 1/2 hour drive. He also really started walking while we were there. He had been taking a couple steps at a time but now he will take a lot more and he is slowly getting the hang of it. We are sad that we had to say goodbye to my Gramma Luck but it was nice being able to spend time with Aunt Sarah and seeing our Luck side of the family.

Weekend in Austin

We went to Austin last weekend to visit my mom and to support the Red Raiders! We had a very good visit and even though they lost the Raiders played a very good game. We also got to visit my Gramma. Cohen is getting very close to walking! He is standing alot more by himself and will take a couple steps at a time to me. He is also getting some new teeth. One on the top side has broken through and it looks like his top two are about to too. He babbles alot but no new words. Cohen is 13 months! I cant believe its already been a month since his Birthday. He is such a funny and happy baby! He loves to talk. He loves to say "mama and dadda." He took two steps last week but is refusing to do it anymore. I started back to work three weeks ago and he has been staying home with daddy then I get home and we switch. I traded in my two door truck for a new 4 door car. I was a little sad to see it go since I have had it since my sophomore year of college but it was hard getting Cohen in and out of that everyday. I got a 2009 silver Ford Focus. We love my new car and Cohen got a big boy carseat thanks to his Lucky! It also has waaay better gas mileage so that is nice. Here are some pictures

We went to the doctor last Tuesday for Cohen's well check. He weighs 20 lbs and is 29 inches long. That puts him in the 10-25% for both height and weight. He is our little guy. He got 2 shots and did not like them but calmed down pretty fast. Otherwise the dr. said he looked good and we will be going back when he is 15 months. Cohen is doing so much these days. He is signing more and all done. He claps when you say "yay Cohen." If you say "how big is Cohen" he will raise his arms over his head. He can give kisses when asked. He loves seeing his Aunts, Cousins and grandparents. He can imitate words really well but I can never tell if he is really saying them or just repeating them. The other night he said "thank you" everytime I handed him something. Ive heard him say "I love you," "hi," and "hello." He says "mo" for more sometimes. He loves playing peek a boo with the coffee table. We are working on getting him off the bottle. He has not figured out how to use sippy cups yet. He is cruising around the furniture and will stand in place for a couple of seconds. No walking yet though.

He is eating everything! Some of his favorites are:

Eureka Springs

On Sunday Sarah, my grandparents, my dad, Cohen and I drove to Eureka Springs where my dad has a bed and breakfast. It was mine and Cohen's second time to visit but Sarah and my grandparent's first time. We had lots of fun eating and walking around in Eureka Springs. Cohen did very well had lots of fun crawling around at Poppy's! We came back Monday afternoon and went to dinner with Meg and then everyone left Tuesday morning. Sorry it has been so long but we have a very busy couple of weeks. July 15 was Cohen's 1st birthday and we had his party July 18. Aunt Sarah, my mom, and my grandparents all came in to town for Cohen's birthday party. Also a good friend from Tech came all the way up from Houston to celebrate with us. (Thanks Shannon!) Cohen had a great first 4th of July! We went to Eureka Springs where my dad has a place. We went swimming on Saturday during the day and got to go out a boat to watch the fireworks that night. He did not like wearing the too big life jacket but he got used to it. Cohen watched the fireworks but didnt love them. He pointed at some. Hopefully next year he will get into them more. Sunday we went into town and walked around and went sight seeing. We had lots of fun in Eureka and cant wait to go back! Here are some pictures from this weekend.

11 Months Old!

Cohen is 11 months old! He is so funny and learning new stuff all the time. My last day of school was on Tuesday so I will be home with him for the rest of the summer! Cohen has started doing so many things in the last couple of weeks. He started standing on Thursday without holding on to anything. He is clapping alot! He loves to talk especially if we are at a store and he is riding in a basket. He is eating everything he can get his hands on. I cannot sit and eat around him he has to have a bite of everything I eat. We are planning a birthday party for him for next month. I cannot believe it has almost been a whole year since he was born. He looks so different and has grown up so much. But it just keeps getting more fun. Here are some pictures from June.

I took Cohen swimming for the first time this weekend. We went on Saturday and the water was a little chilly. I held him in the water for about 20 minutes but he didnt want to get too far in. After he ate a bottle and sat on the side he tried it again. This time Aunt Meggie played with him in the water and he liked it better. We went again on Sunday and he decided he loves swimming! He kept trying to put his face in the water and loved splashing. I would sit him on the side and he would jump in my arms. He also liked when Meg and I would toss him back and forth. He has a little baby pool for our backyard. He likes sitting in that and playing with his pool toys. I really think he is going to enjoy swimming which I am so happy about because I love swimming. We are going to have a fun summer together! Here are some pictures.

Cohen has always been an excellent eater. He has eaten everything we have ever given him and is always wanting more. I have been trying to slowly add in more "people" food even thought he just got his first tooth on Monday! He two jars of baby food for lunch and dinner. He snacks on baby puffs, fruit, and crackers. He also likes the yogurt melts (for dessert only). He tried some cut up chicken this weekend. He also had tons of bread at the restraunt we were at. I have never seen him turn food away! I wonder where he got his big appetite from? ;) Here are some cute pictures of him eating a cracker. (He is such a happy boy!)

Cohen is doing new things everyday and it is so exciting to see him moving around more. He is pulling up on everything and getting into everything. We went back to the Dr. yesterday and he has no more ear infections! We are so excited! We dont need to go back to the Dr. till he is a year old which will be in July. Cohen has been feeling a lot better than last weekend. He started feeling better last Monday and has been like his old self ever since! We did go to the Dr. today to check his ears again and he still has one ear infection so we got some new meds. He doesnt act like it bothers him though. He is really starting to crawl around more even though he has known how to for almost a month! We thought he had an allergic reaction to something this weekend b/c he got a rash on his arms, legs, and face but the Dr. said it was just a sickness and he should be over it. Nothing too exciting going here. It is really getting warm so we have been spending a lot of time outside. Cohen loves to be outside. Here are some pictures of Cohen feeling better!

Sick Baby Boy

Cohen is under the weather with ear infections. This is the first time he has ever been sick and it is so sad to see him this way. He has a fever for the past 3 days. We went to the Dr. Friday afternoon for his 9 month check up and to see what was wrong with him. He looked at his ears and said that he had an ear infection in both of them. He wrote us a prescription and Cohen has been taking it very well. He has been pretty good, not too fussy. He just wants to be held most of the time. He is still eating well though. He is sleeping ALOT. He slept from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm last night. I went in there at 7:30 b/c he had never gotten up to eat and he was sound asleep. He is slowly starting to feel better. He even smiled and played with his toys a little today. I hate him being sick but I am so thankful that he has not gotten sick before this. I took some 9 month pictures on Wednesday but he didnt feel good so I am going to take some more when he feels better. Here are some pictures of the sick baby boy.

Cohen had a very good first Easter even though it is cold and rainy. We went to church this morning with Meg and my dad. He did very good. He sat through the whole service and didnt cry once. We did feed him a lot of apple puffs though! Then we went and ate lunch at his Aunt Nicoles where he saw his Nana and cousins. He got two very cute Easter baskets and lots of (empty) Easter eggs and some new toys. The Easter bunny brought him some rubber duckies for the bath and a new book. We went and had his picture taken with the Easter bunny on Friday. He did not cry but he also did not smile. Cohen will be 9 months old on Wednesday and we are going to the doctor on Friday so I will post all his stats. Have a good week!

8 months!

Cohen was 8 months old on Sunday. He is starting to do so many things. He is army crawling all around. Today he went from one room to another! He has also started to wave! I bought some cereal stuff that melts in his mouth and he loves those. I also bought him this thing that you can put different fruits and stuff in and he sucks and chews the food through a net thing. I will post a picture so you can see what exactly Im talking about. So far all he has had is bananas but he seems to like it. I have to back to school on Monday but I have had so much with Cohen these past two weeks. I'm going to miss him so much while I am at school. It has been really nice here so we go outside everyday and he sits on his blanket and pulls out the grass/weeds. He loves being outside! He has turned into a very cuddly baby which I love. Everynight he will just lay against me and suck his thumb. I hope he never stops (cuddling, I hope he stops sucking his thumb!)! I will get the pictures from when Sarah was here this weekend and post them. Here are some recent pictures.

Sorry it has been so long! We have had a busy couple of weeks. We went to Fort Worth a couple weekends ago for my Grandad's birthday. We had a lot of fun and got to see a lot of family and Aunt Virginia came to see us! My sister was here this weekend and Cohen did really good with her. He wasnt too clingy and she got a lot of cute pictures of him. I am off this week and next week for spring break. We are just taking it easy and playing together. Cohen still is not crawling but he is moving around more. I think it will be soon but I wont mind if he doesnt do it too soon. He is getting too big too fast. 7 Months!

Cohen was seven months old on Sunday the 15th. He is getting so big and starting to move around more. He isnt crawling yet but he gets up on all fours. He is also able to get what he wants if it is close enough for him to inch toward it. He is eating all kinds of food now and likes everything he has tried. For Valentines Jason and I got to go out while Nana watched Cohen. Cohen got some new stuffed animals, clothes, and lots of cards for his first Valentines. Cohen has had a little seperation anxiety lately. If I am around and other people are holding him he is constantly looking for me and making sure I dont leave him. Its sweet but he even does it around family so I want him to be comfortable with them too. We are going to Fort Worth this weekend for my Grandad's birthday so that should be a lot of fun. Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I have been waiting for Christmas pictures from my sister. She finally sent them! We had a great Christmas in Andrews, TX. Cohen got to meet his cousins and his other great grandma. He received lots of presents too! He was pretty good driving down and back. He didnt sleep as well as he does in his own crib. Aunt Sarah met us in TX then drove back with us and hung out for a few days in Tulsa. Cohen loves his aunts! That next week I was off so I got to spend time with Cohen. For New Years Cohen's nana and Aunt Nicole watched him while Jason and I celebrated with friends. We are starting to pack up this house and move into a new one. Five Months!

Today is Cohen's five month birthday! He is getting so big and starting to do all kinds of new things. He can roll from both back to stomach and stomach to back. He has started rolling all over the floor. He is grabbing at everything and putting it in his mouth. He is getting pretty good at sitting up by himself too. He is so excited about Christmas coming up. We are driving to Andrews, TX to see my grandparents. Sarah is flying here on Saturday then we are leaving Monday to go to TX. We will be there till the Saturday after Christmas. Im so excited that Cohen is making his first trip to Andrews! I have a lot of memories from there! We didnt do that much this week. We took Cohen to Rhema which is a church where they put up thousands of lights. It was kind of chilly so we didnt stay long. Meg and I went to her holiday dinner on Thursday night and Poppy watched Cohen. He showed him all his new rolling over tricks! We are going to see Santa tomorrow so we will see how that goes. I am home today because we had some bad weather last night and the roads were icy this morning so they cancelled school! I have just been hanging out with Cohen all day. Cohen had a very good Thanksgiving. We went to Poppy's house for breakfast and to Aunt Nicoles house for lunch. We then went to Austin for the weekend. Cohen did pretty good in the car. He knew what was going on on the way back and was a little fussy but he had lots of fun with his Honey! Cohen started rolling over from his back to his stomach on Monday. I got this video on Wednesday. It takes a while for him to finally do it but its pretty funny when he finally does. There are also some pictures from Thanksgiving. We arent doing much this weekend. Decorating for Christmas and getting Cohen's picture made. The video is at the very bottom.

Doctor and Cereal

Cohen went to the doctor yesterday for his four month checkup and shots. The doctor said he looked really good. He weighed 15lbs and 9oz and was 26 1/2 in long. That is the 50-75% for weight and 95% for height! He did not like his shots but as soon as I picked him up he was fine. The doctor also said we could start feeding him cereal! Im not sure what he thought about it but he kept letting me put the spoon in so I know he doesnt hate it! Here are some pictures of him eating his first bowl of cereal! Tech play OU this weekend. Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. We have been pretty good. I went back to work this week and Cohen and I are very sad. We liked spending all day together. But I think we are getting used to it. Just one more week then its Thanksgiving week! I am so excited. We are going to Austin the day after Thanksgiving to see my mom. Cohen will be 4 months old this Saturday! He is going to the doctor on Monday so I will let you know what he weighs. We havent been doing anything too exciting. Sarah came to visit us last week. We had lots of fun and she got lots of good pictures. She got to watch Cohen a couple days while I was working. They has so much fun together! Here are some of the pictures she took.

Rolling Over!

Cohen has learned how to roll over! He does it all the time. He does it when he wakes up and he is on his back when I go get him from his crib. He also does it if he is having tummy time on the floor. Here are some action shots of him rolling over!

Its been a long time!

Sorry it has been so long! I have been so busy! I got a job about three weeks ago working at an elementary school as a teacher's assistant. I really like it and I get to do all the fun things like grade papers and decorate things! Its also nice because they are on a year-round schedule so I get the next three weeks off to be with Cohen! Cohen is getting so big. At the last dr. appt. he weighed 13 lbs and was almost 23 inches long. He has rolled over twice from his stomach to his back and he really likes to smile now! He also likes to fly in the air and has been talking to us alot. My mom came and visited two weeks ago and Sarah is here now. She has taken alot of really good pictures of him so after she sends them to me I will add them to the blog. For now here are some from last weekend when he was wearing his Texas Tech outfit. He loves to watch football and especially watch Tech win!

Two Months Old

Cohen was two months old yesterday! He is getting so big! We go to the Doctor next week to get his first set of shots so I will post how much he weighs and how long he is. We didnt do anything too exciting this weekend. It rained all day Saturday so we stayed home. We went to Poppy's sunday night and ate. Last night Cohen watched his favorite football team the Cowboys beat the Eagles! He loves watching football! Here are Cohen's two month pictures and some from this last week. Enjoy!

8 Weeks Old!

Cohen was 8 weeks old yesterday! He is getting so big! Three of my friends from Tech came in this last weekend to see Cohen and me. We had alot of fun shopping and eating and of course playing with Cohen. Cohen got in his first car accident this weekend. I was driving him to my dads so he could watch him for awhile while I went out with my friends. I was turning right and a car that had turned left hit me on my side. No one was hurt except my truck. Cohen did very good and slept the whole time for his Poppy! I am hopefully going to get my truck fixed this week. Nothing too much going on here. Still looking for a job. I had an interview this week that seemed promising so we'll see where that goes. Ill keep you updated. Here are some pictures of Cohen!
